My Aunt Daisy

My mother’s younger sister, Daisy, has been the spiritual engine behind “Dancing in Their Light”. Much of the contents of the earlier days of our family were memorialized by Daisy via our oral history project. I am so glad that i recorded our meetings and that I saved a good portion of her handwritten letters to me over the decades.

Here is a rare photo of her as a young woman - early 20’s - when she was living in the Philippines. I love this picture which captures her smart style and elegance.
