Dad's "Aha" Moment

A scene from our family trip to Hawaii in 1968 where we fell in love with the Polynesian and Hawaiian cultures. This was the "aha" moment for Dad. This trip inspired Dad to completely renovate Mah Jong by adding a new wing called the "Aloha Room".

Later this year, our family would never be the same. The Aloha Room became the place where a Polynesian floor show would designate Mah Jong as a must-experience nightclub destination.

The young Debbie Chinn in this picture had no idea that the ride of her life was about to begin.
